Please meet the Mid-World Players Board of Directors
Not only do these individuals participate in the artistic creation of each of these shows, but can also be seen acting in most of them too. We have curated a talented team to bring you the best that MWP has to offer.

Jesse Seann Atkinson
CEO and Artistic Director
Jesse Seann Atkinson graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Performing Arts, and has worked as an actor, singer, director and writer for stage and screen. Since moving from Chicago to Long Beach back in 2007, it has been a passionate dream of his to create and establish his very own theatre company, not just for himself, but for fellow actors, writers , and singers, and for his fellow community. His most recent credits with Mid-World Players have been Jack Purdie in Dear Brutus, Cradeau in No Exit, Matt in Dog Sees God, Clyde Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde and Romeo/Demetrius in Love, Shakespeare: A Musical Review. (He also directed these projects.) He has also appeared around Orange County in such parts as Barrett in Titanic the Musical, Emille in South Pacific, Richard in The Lion in Winter, Clark Garrison in Vampire Queen of Mars, and Tony Wendice in Dial 'M' For Murder. With the Long Beach Shakespeare Company he has appeared as Bertram in All's Well That End's Well, Philip the Bastard in King John, and Caius Cassius in Julius Caesar.
Jennifer Harmon

Jennifer Harmon graduated with a BA in Theatre from Cal State Fullerton. Since graduating, she performed all over Southern California, as well as New York and Florida. She is also an educator.
Jennifer's most recent Mid-World Players credits include the award-winning production of American Idiot and Bare: A Pop Opera. Other credits include: Sweeney Todd (Johanna), Hair (Jeannie), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Gloria), All Shook Up (Matilda), Bound for Broadway (NY Debut), Elf, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Unsinkable Molly Brown. As a choreographer, Jennifer has worked on productions of The Wizard of Oz, Anything Goes, Snow White and Elf.
